I don’t think
I’ve updated the blog on our countertop update…it’s coming Friday!! CAN…
NOT…WAIT!!! I have feelings of pure exhilaration, also followed by extreme nervousness.
This whole renovation has opened my eyes to how easy it is for something to go
wrong, and I’m just hoping Friday won’t be one of those days. We’re praying for
it to be one of the rare moments with things smoothly fall into place. I’m sure
we have had those moments, but now as I rack my brain nothing’s coming to mind
;o/
During the
day I was able to help David out by getting the piece to fix the tractor that
has been sitting in the lawn the past 3 weeks. I think I was as excited as he
was for the part :o) When he came home he went straight to work and got that
bad boy back down the hill and into the garage where it belongs! After dinner
we tackled one more project and installed the dinette light! IT’s pretty, but
man was it a bitch to install. Because of the design of the cables and cords,
it just made for a difficult process to get it leveled and all lines taut. It
sure does make you look at products differently and if their beauty is worth
the purchase considering the potential head ache installation and maintenance may
cause. Have I mentioned how much we are learning by being homeowners and DIYer’s?
