Yay for the
beginning of cabinet installation!!! I had to leave for the night for some
training downtown but before I left I helped David carry in a few big pieces. He
said that by the end of the night he had brought all cabinets in but the lazy
susan and the pantry, and had connected some of the smaller ones together.
Before he could secure the cabinets to the wall he had to find the high point
in our floor. Considering our floors and walls are not the most level this was
a bit of a challenge for him. But with Kyle’s laser level he found the point
and with some shims started securing a few cabinets to the wall. He was initially
planning on securing the lazy susan cabinet first but the highest point was on
the other side. So instead he started with the blind cabinet off the half wall
and started the run from there.
