David’s work
has yet to improve, so only small bits of the kitchen was completed. I sanded
the wall one last time, and then figured it was time for some paint. After I
painted the wall, I got to a few spots that I had spackled and were just waiting
to be painted. One part was the double outlet left of the peninsula which will
operate the pendant lights. With the wall painted I attached the outlet and
switch and added the cover plate. I love adding finishing touches. During the
day while I was running errands I met up with David for some lunch at Chipotle.
It was nice to kidnap him from the stresses and frustrations of work to enjoy
some burritos. It was another beautiful day so any excuse to eat lunch on a
patio I’m game. I’m confident that Spring is here and here to stay!
